02The comparison

Same thing. Much less money.

Same document, same route, same approximate delivery time. With the big couriers you pay for the global network: DHL, FedEx and UPS cover 220+ countries and that structure is priced into every shipment. We cover few corridors with fixed local operators — fewer layers, lower cost. That's the whole difference.

Public rates from DHL Express, FedEx International Priority and UPS Worldwide Express for standard document shipping United Kingdom–Spain (0.5 kg), checked in 2026; all three bill insurance separately — and so do we: we arrange it on request, on the value you declare. Royal Mail International Tracked offers a cheaper rate but with 5–10 day delivery times, very limited tracking once past UK customs and basic insurance — not recommended for critical documents.

The UK apostille
Your document must reach us already apostilled by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO Legalisation Office) in Milton Keynes. We explain the process on WhatsApp.
Obtaining UK documents
We don't get DBS checks, GRO certificates or Transcripts. If yours doesn't exist yet, it must first be issued in the UK; we transport it once it's ready.
Sworn translation
If you need a Spanish translation for official procedures, we refer you to sworn translators certified by MAEC (€30–60 separate).
Degree recognition
Handled by the Ministry or ANECA in Spain. We bring you the documents; you or a specialised agent handle the recognition.
The Spanish apostille
If you're sending a Spanish document to the UK and it needs an apostille, you handle that at the Ministry of Justice or the Notaries College before handing it to us.
04Validation route

What happens before the paper leaves.

This changes in every country. Here's the real order for the United Kingdom.

  1. Original document

Issued by the GRO, by the university or by whichever authority applies.

  2. Notarisation

Only if the document is private: powers of attorney, affidavits.

  3. FCDO Legalisation Office

Issues the apostille, in Milton Keynes. It is the only body that issues it in the UK.

  4. We move it

As soon as it's apostilled, it leaves for Spain.

  5. Use in Spain

With the FCDO apostille the document is valid here, with no consulate step.

06Frequently asked

Before you trust us with a document.

Office: Carrer de Camprodon 21, 08012 Barcelona · Metro Verdaguer · L4 / L5 · Mon–Fri · 09:00–14:00 and 16:00–19:00

Where's the catch?

No catch. We specialise in the United Kingdom↔Spain route, work with local operators in the UK and have recurring volume (nationality, degree recognition, estates). DHL, FedEx and UPS charge €40–55 because they cover 220 countries and maintain that global structure.

Do you also bring documents from Spain?

Yes. The corridor works both ways.

Do I have to apostille before shipping?

It depends on the receiving body. We tell you on WhatsApp before we collect anything — and the “Validation route” section has the real order of authorities for the United Kingdom.

What's the difference with Royal Mail Tracked, which is cheaper?

Royal Mail International Tracked is cheaper, but takes 5 to 10 days, international tracking is very limited (visibility drops once past Spanish customs) and insurance for important documents is almost none. Not a real alternative for urgent or critical documents. If yours isn't, Royal Mail can work for you.

When does the price change?

Exceptional cases, always told BEFORE: 48–72 h urgencies, weight above 2 kg, irreplaceable originals with extended insurance or recurring business shipments on a volume rate.
