It is the first question that reaches us on WhatsApp, almost always in the same shape: "I have a box for my family, how much is it?". And almost always the person asking has already searched and found what you found: pages that want your details before they will "send you a quote", five-step forms, and not a single number in sight.
Here is the number.
The price: you pay by the kilo
Sea cargo to Pakistan from Spain is charged by weight, and the kilo is published:
| Type of cargo | Price per kilo |
| General cargo | €4.50/kg |
| Electronics | €5.00/kg |
No odd brackets, no hidden minimum, no surcharge that shows up at the end. Multiply your box's weight by the price per kilo and that is the total.
What your box comes to
So you do not have to do the sum:
- A 20 kg box of clothes, blankets or household goods → €90
- A 30 kg box → €135
- Two 25 kg boxes → €225
These are rough figures, and it is worth saying why: the real total comes from your box's actual weight when we put it on the scale at the warehouse. If you reckoned 20 kg and the scale says 23, you pay 23. And the other way round: if it says 18, you pay 18. We weigh it in front of you if you like.
What that price covers
The per-kilo price covers the whole journey:
1. Consolidation in Barcelona. Your box waits in our warehouse for the shipment to be completed and travels grouped with the rest.
2. The crossing. The ship — the slow part, and the reason it costs what it costs.
3. Customs at destination and the final delivery. Handled by our partner in Pakistan, who takes the box to the recipient's address.
What we cannot fold into the price are any charges Pakistani customs decides to apply to what you are sending: that depends on the contents and we do not know it in advance. Ask us before you pack and we will tell you.
Why the ship is cheaper than the plane
The short answer: because it takes longer. The full crossing is roughly 8 to 10 weeks, door to door, and that is exactly what you are trading for money.
A plane charges for space and weight in a hold that leaves every day; a ship spreads that cost across thousands of boxes travelling together and in no hurry. That is why sea freight makes sense for what is bulky and not urgent: seasonal clothes, blankets, household goods, a wedding trousseau.
If yours is urgent, the ship is not your option and we will say so. To Pakistan we currently run the sea corridor only; we do fly to other destinations.
Why it is cheaper than carrying it yourself
It is the comparison most people make and almost nobody finishes. Checking an extra 23 kg bag on a flight to Pakistan rarely comes in under €60–80 each way, and for that you move 23 kg once, hauling it through the airport yourself, within the airline's weight limit and with the risk of it being opened.
For €90 you send 20 kg without leaving your neighbourhood, with no limit of bags per person and nothing to carry. The difference is not the price: it is that the price does not grow with the inconvenience.
How to know exactly what yours costs
Write to us on WhatsApp and tell us two things: what you want to send and which city in Pakistan. With that we will give you the price before you pack anything — no forms to fill in and no details to leave.
